About - Keystone Thrust Paintings

Context:

The Keystone Thrust paintings came about after I’d experienced the hues and patterns observed during time in the desert region around Red Rock Canyon, Nevada. The dynamic interplay of light and shadow in this rugged landscape stayed with me after I’d left and the essence of this terrain's ever-changing beauty was in my mind’s eye while I painted.
