About the Stratum Paintings

Working on the Stratum Series, my mind was on the diverse geological layers and shapes I’d observed in places like Iceland, Italy, Colorado, Utah, Cornwall, and Northamptonshire. The Towering volcanoes, sweeping canyons, and rugged quarries all left their mark on my creative process.
