There was no paint to be had but there was a pttery so I inprovised and we made paint with tikka powder (which was used to sprinkle over deities) and pottery slip). Linda Sgoluppi
In this photograph, I'm drinking Billy tea made by late friends, Tony and Virginia. A special day to remember, with Suzzee (Suzzee's sister and BI, and Sarah on Tony and Virginia's property Kirriwah, a station/homestead in the Tooraweenah area of New South Wales roughly 44 km northeast of Gilgandra and is on the western side of the Warrumbungle Ranges. The Traces series of paintings came after this time in Australia On the property thre was a magical area that we travelled to for an hour on the back of a Ute. I knew on the day that this ws one of those special days I'd always remember. Linda Sgoluppi
