Artist's paint brush
There is a special haven that for me ignites my imagination, sharpens my focus, and evokes a deep sense of inspiration and connection. It does not belong to me but I feel I belong to it.
That place is in Eryri. Tyn y Cae (House in the field) is nestled amidst a tranquil ambiance and rests serenely in the lee of a mountain. Nothing interrupts its view to the sea and makes it impossible not to be completely enthralled and gathered up. Its expansive windows frame views that are resonant with ethereal hues of ever-shifting blues and greys and when kissed by the sun's golden embrace, are transformed into silvers, magentas, and indigo.
Within the beauty of a designated dark sky area, on a clear night, the stars sparkle and the Milky Way is as clear as a mountain stream, I absolutely love it. The Overscore Paintings are a direct manifestation of the time I’ve spent there.
