About the Tractus paintings

Each Tractus painting merged painting and drawing techniques. Paint was applied with rollers, while drawing was executed remotely, hands off, using a modified toy Ferrari. The resulting staccato marks reflect the car's speed, impacts and changes in direction. Canvas variations yield differing line weights. Interventions include masking and partial painting over drawn lines, that created a layered effect. Despite spanning all canvasses, deliberate disruptions in line continuity occurred, as canvases were periodically rearranged.
